About the program
St John Urgent Care offers a community based dedicated to treating all patients requiring urgent but non-emergency treatment. The service is designed to be an alternative to emergency department treatment that provides fast access to immediate care. St John Urgent Care centres offer high quality, medical treatment for walk-in patients (no referral needed) with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Staffed by a team of highly-skilled doctors and nurses, St John can treat a range of urgent medical needs.
Allianz Care Australia covers the costs associated with treatment provided by St John Urgent Care. Cost coverage includes the treatment provided by St John Urgent Care and any consumables associated with the provision of care.
Radiology and Pathology providers are also located onsite at each St John location. These services are covered at 85% of the MBS fee under a member’s policy. Some gap fees may apply.
